Privacy Policy

Overview

LaterLine is a local-first save-for-later planner for iOS. Your saved links, schedules, reading progress, and settings are stored on your device. We do not operate servers that store your personal reading list.

Data We Collect

LaterLine stores the following data locally on your device:

• Saved URLs, titles, source domains, content type, tags, and estimated time
• Reading status, reading position, schedules, reminders, and snooze count
• Reading windows, reading speed, app settings, and preferences
• Reader content or metadata that the app extracts to show a clean reading view

This data is stored in an SQLite database and your device's local file system. It does not leave your device unless you explicitly export, back up, or share it.

Links and Metadata

When you save a URL, LaterLine may request that page to read public metadata such as title, description, image, domain, content type, or duration. This is used to create the item card and estimate reading or watching time.

Notifications

LaterLine uses local notifications for reminders you schedule. Notification permissions are managed by iOS. LaterLine does not send marketing push notifications.

Subscriptions

LaterLine uses RevenueCat to manage in-app subscriptions. Purchases and restores are processed through the App Store. RevenueCat's privacy policy governs data collected during that process. We do not receive your payment details.

Third-Party Services

• RevenueCat for subscription management and purchase restoration
• Apple App Store for payment processing

No advertising SDKs are included in this version of the app.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Reading list data is shared only when you explicitly export, back up, or share it through your device.

Data Retention

Data is retained on your device until you delete items, clear app data, or uninstall the app. Uninstalling LaterLine removes locally stored app data from your device.

Your Rights

You control the data LaterLine stores:

• Access: saved items and settings are visible inside the app.
• Portability: export or back up your reading list where available.
• Deletion: delete individual items, clear data, or uninstall the app.

Children

LaterLine is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy as the app evolves. The date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
